Sowing Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the soil by removing weeds, rocks and debris.
Step 2
Apply Midwest Groundwork Starter Fertiliser before sowing.
Step 3
Spread seed evenly.
Premium New Lawn
20–30g/m²
Overseeding
10–15g/m²
Lightly rake the seed into the soil and water immediately.
Watering
Keep the soil consistently moist during germination.
Water lightly 2–4 times daily until established.
Germination
Tall Fescue generally germinates within 7–14 days under suitable growing conditions.
First Mow
Mow when the lawn reaches approximately 70–90mm.
Never remove more than one-third of the leaf blade during any single mow.
Ongoing Care
Feed every 8–12 weeks using Midwest Launch Lawn Fertiliser.
Apply Midwest Soil Wetter during hot, dry conditions to improve water penetration.
